Rodney greeted us warmly upon our late arrival, making check-in a breeze. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with a fridge and microwave, ideal for our needs. The fan in the bathroom was amusingly loud, adding a touch of nostalgia to our stay reminiscent of Mayberry. Just a short drive from downtown Mount Airy’s attractions, this quaint motel made our family trip even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely return!

Our stay was really nice with a great value for the price. The location was convenient, just a short drive to downtown, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Menu for breakfast could use more variety.

I loved the location! It was super close to downtown and the access to the Mt. Airy greenway made biking around a breeze. The room was clean, and I appreciated the little touches like the shampoo basket in the shower. The staff was really cute too, which made me feel at home.
But, man, I had a tough time with the smoke everywhere! There was no room service, and I had to ask for basic stuff like towels. The bathroom was on the small side, and the fan was super noisy - definitely needs an upgrade. I wouldn’t stay here again with so many issues, sadly.

Had good stay on vacation with incredible staff and wonderful location by a river with a paved walking trail. Couldn't recommend more this place and would still consider staying here again.
No complaints.

I was really impressed with the value for money at the hotel. The room exceeded my expectations in cleanliness, and the staff, especially Rodney, were warm and cute, making our stay feel very comfortable.
The hotel breakfast menu could use more variety in options.

I had a nice stay at this renovated motel. The room was clean, comfy, and had a good-sized TV, plus a microwave and fridge with a separate freezer-super convenient! The location was prime for accessing downtown and nearby attractions, making it easy to explore. The staff were friendly and helpful, which really made the experience enjoyable.
There were a few downsides. The noise from the busy road was noticeable, especially during the day, making it hard to hear the TV sometimes. I had an issue with some cigarette smoke drifting into my non-smoking room from a bench right outside. The shower needed a bit of work too, as it sprayed on the floor when turned on. a good stay with a few quirks!

Comfortable room, accommodating staff, with a fantastic armchair for sitting and watching TV. Easy access to a paved trail for walking or jogging nearby.
All was flawless.

Friendly staff made check-in easy.
I was disappointed with my stay. The room was not as clean as expected, with noticeable dirt and stains on the carpet, and the bathroom wasn't properly maintained either. I couldn't even sleep well because of the thin walls. I could hear the neighbors talking loudly throughout the night.

The king room felt modern, clean, and offered everything I needed. The lovely walking trail right outside added an unexpected charm. The only minor issue was the older facility aspect, but the friendly staff made up for it in spades.
